This is our final week in our series No Limits. We’ve been spending time with Moses, looking at what it means to be called by God to do great things. Especially when so often we feel small and unprepared.
Week one, we looked at the reality that big influence starts with a small step. Everyone starts somewhere, and Moses started with a talking, burning bush in the middle of nowhere while he was in hiding. Let’s face it, it’s not like he was already in a position of power and God asked him to use that power. Yet, God called him.
Week 2 we looked at how when someone expresses that they believe in us, and encourage us to live up to what they see in us, it changes everything. God called Moses, just as he was, because God was with him. What if we embraced that too? What if we started to believe that with God, there is no limit to what we can do.
This week, we are turning up the heat just a little. So much can happen in just one minute, one hour, or one day. Think about it. How many times have you watched a football game that came down to the last play in the last minute of the game? Have you ever been late to a movie and missed a crucial opening scene? Minutes can change everything! The truth is, time is valuable but we don’t always treat it that way. As students, it’s easy to feel like we have all the time in the world. And so we waste it—a lot of it. But what would you do if you knew your days were numbered? What would you change if you knew your time was limited? The truth is, our time is We’ll never have more than we do right now. So, if we want to make wise decisions, to make the most of our time, we must learn to number our days.
So, let the Countdown Begin. – If you want to make your days count, count your days.
